A 26 year old man arrested for defiling a 9 month old baby in her mothers room in Lagos.
A 26 year old man, Agboola Adebayo has been apprehended for allegedly defiling a 9 month old baby, police in Lagos state have disclosed, According to the state police command’s spokesperson, SP Hundeyin in a statement on wednesday, the case was reported to the police by a concerned member of the public. He said the suspect who’s from Railway Ijora Badia, allegedly went to the apartment where the baby’s mother laid on thee floor and quickly went to buy something outside the compound, then the suspect went in and allegedly went in and had sexual intercourse with the baby and ran away from the scene.
“The mother of the baby aged 16 years came to the station with the baby and was issued a medical form to enable her to take the child to the hospital for urgent medical form for urgent attention.” however on Tuesday at about 11:15pm, the suspect was smoked out from his hiding place by detectives from Ijora Badia Division, he said.
He also said the suspect confessed to the crime during interrogation Hundeyin said that the scene of crime was photographed when the police visited and the stained pant with blood was recovered as an exhibit. he said that the case file has been transferred to the gender section of state command.
