Friendship, a state of enduring affection esteem and intimacy and trust between two people. Across all borders and cultures, friendships are one important aspect of our lives, so just the way families are important to us, so are friends too, the role of our friends in our lives cannot be underestimated.
Today, we will be talking about the different types or categories of friends just so we can know the role of every person you call your friends, their categories will help us know their importance and role and the value each one of them are adding to our lives.
The four categories of friendship are:Acquaintances,Social friends, Intimate friends and the Epitome of friends. Everybody we come across and that we call friends, each one of them add values to you in one way or another.
This categories of friends are the types that are likely to just keep in contact with you due to work or a common interest, e.g you love animation and you just meet someone who loves animation and oh, you guys just click and talk about animation whenever you meet, another typical example, for food lovers like me, I have friends that whenever we see, all we ever talk about is food, all delicacy of food, we don’t share intimate relationship, just interest, they are my acquitances.
This sets of friends are the grooving ones, they love to party and have all the fun in the world, no dull moments with them, they tend to be lighthearted like they don’t have worries.
Intimate friends are the ones we go to for advice, They are the ones we usually rely on to share deeper connection and they tend to encourage you.

Finally, you’ve got the epitome of friends, They are the ones that are our backbone, in the good times, they are there for us, in the bad times, they are there, when you need a shoulder to cry on, they are there, to laugh, they laugh with you, They are the ones that have both the fun and silly good times while also being there for one another during the darkest times, they never judge you, you can always be yourself around them, they are the BFF for life.
In a nutshell, you just have to understand where each of your friends fall into to avoid all kinds of pressure,understand the type of friends each of them are and you realise you all are on the same page and getting along so well
