The Nigerian Customs Service (NCS), Area 2 Command in Onne, Rivers State, has announced that it generated over N190 billion in revenue during the first quarter of 2025.

In addition to the revenue generated, the Command also seized 20 containers of contraband goods illegally imported into the country. The total estimated value of the seized items stands at N10.2 billion.

Babandede highlighted that the exports processed during the period — consisting mainly of agricultural products and solid minerals — were worth over N2.3 billion.

He reiterated the NCS’s commitment to combating smuggling and emphasized that offenders would face the full force of the law.
