Olori Solape Abolarin, Wife of Orangun of Oke-Ila, Passes Away as Governor Adeleke Mourns Her Loss

Olori Solape Christianah Abolarin, the wife of the Orangun of Oke-Ila, Oba Adedokun Abolarin, has passed away. As of Tuesday afternoon, the exact circumstances of her death were not yet known.
Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, expressed deep sorrow over her passing in a statement released by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed. The governor described Olori Solape as a virtuous woman and a strong supporter of her husband in his leadership duties. He extended his condolences to Oba Abolarin, their children, the royal family, colleagues, and the people of Oke-Ila, urging them to find comfort in the fond memories they shared with her.
Governor Adeleke offered heartfelt sympathies to the entire Oke-Ila community and the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, where Olori Solape had worked prior to her sudden passing. He encouraged those affected by her death to take solace in the positive impact she made during her life.
“Although her loss is painful,” he noted, “we must honor the progress and values she stood for.” He prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul and emphasized the need to cherish the legacy she left behind.
