TWO IMMIGRATION OFFICERS KILLED, SEVEN INJURED IN ROAD CRASH

No fewer than two officers of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) were confirmed dead and seven critically injured after a ghastly road accident in Kano.
The fatal incident which occurred near Kura town along Kano/Zaria highway involved an 18-passenger Nissan bus and an official vehicle of the service.
Confirming the ugly development, the spokesperson of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kano State Command, Abdullahi Labaran, said that the incident that involved nine men of the service ensued as a result of sudden tyre burst.
