LABOUR PARTY DENIES MERGER TALKS WITH PDP

The Labour Party (LP) has categorically denied rumors of ongoing merger talks with any political party, specifically the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Earlier reports suggested that Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s presidential candidate in the previous election, had proposed a merger of opposition parties to unseat the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
However, in a resolute statement today, Obiora Ifoh, the Labour Party’s national publicity secretary, dismissed these reports as “twisted fabrications intended to disparage the Labour Party.“
