NMDPRA, Gives Order to all Filling Stations to Ban Petrol Sales in Jerrycan/keg.

The NMDPRA(Nigeria Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority), has ordered filling stations to stop selling petrol in jerrycans amid the ongoing scarcity of the product.

The regulator body has warned that filling stations to stop selling petrol in kegs or jerrycans and that any filling station caught in the act could risk losing their retail license, and should not sell under no account.

The directive comes amid ongoing fuel scarcity and rising prices across the country, and also sighting safety concerns.
