I once read somewhere that it takes 40 days to cultivate a habit, and there are more than 40 left to the end of the year so why not get started now.

Develop a reading culture 

A successful person is as a representation of the knowledge they have acquired and the experiences they have had. Reading is a very important way to gain knowledge. It helps to broaden your mind to possibilities and keeps  you informed in our ever changing world.

Exercising

You have probably heard this before but exercising has so many positive benefits. Aside from other physical benefits, when you exercise, your body releases chemicals called endorphins. These endorphins help to relieve pain, reduce stress and improve your mood.

Goal setting 

Goal setting is one of the best habits you can imbibe. Goals are what drive you, that wake you up early in the morning and keep you up late at night. Little tip: whatever goal you have start working towards it now, the more you procrastinate; the more out of reach it seems.

Save, spend, invest

Definitely more than one habit, but this three-in-one package is sure to help you especially if you are seeking financial freedom. Just like a farmer who after harvest plants some of the seeds he kept aside, don’t eat all your earnings. Save and invest now so you can spend more later.

Gratitude 

In all things give thanks! From time to time, look back on how far you have come. Be grateful for the mentors, friends and family around you. Keep your dreams alive by finding a reason to be grateful in every situation.
