It is an animated movie that tries to depict what goes on in the human mind in relations to emotions such as joy, sadness, anger, fear, disgust, anxiety, etc.
In this particular scene, some emotions were somehow able to suppress the others by bottling them up.
Yeah, it is funny because that is what we do most of the time. It is good to know when to keep your thoughts to yourself, but it is equally important to know when to speak up.
As Nigerians, we are said to have a tough skin, conditioned by our environment to take in anything and everything. But under that tough skin could lay a broken heart. So we wear a mask, hiding the parts of ourselves that we don’t want people to see.
However, with a dash of patience and bits of common sense, we can decipher the maze of our emotions. We can learn to express ourselves properly, so all the bottled up emotions don’t explode one day leaving us with shards and broken pieces.
