Education Ministry Denies Reports on Scrapping Junior Secondary School, Senior Secondary School

The Federal Ministry of Education has dismissed reports circulating on social media and other platforms that the government plans to scrap the Junior Secondary School (JSS) and Senior Secondary School (SSS) levels of education.

In a statement released by the ministry’s Director of Press and Public Relations, Ben Goong, the government described the reports as “fake news” and “misinformation.”

 

The Federal Ministry of Education wishes to assure Nigerians that there is no plan to scrap the JSS and SSS levels of education,” the statement read.
